MATERIAL
APPLICATIONS

Tool geometry, substrate grade, and coating are selected based on the specific material being machined. Each application has different requirements.

Stainless Steel

304, 316, 17-4PH, and duplex grades. Requires sharp edges, positive rake, and heat-resistant coatings to manage work hardening and chip evacuation.

TiAlN or AlTiN coating recommended

Alloy Steel
